Bahasa Class : Dancing while learning Bahasa? Why not!
Bahasa Indonesia Class Recap - June 14

We started our Saturday morning on June 14th with another lively Bahasa Indonesia class! The session opened with a quick review of everything we’ve learned so far, from greetings to basic conversations, giving everyone a chance to refresh their skills and feel more confident.
Next, we moved on to a new topic: telling time in Indonesian. It was great to see everyone actively trying out new vocabulary and practicing how to ask and answer questions about the time.
To make the day even more exciting, we had a mini practice of Tari Tempurung, or the Coconut Shell Dance! It was a fun way to get moving, learn about traditional Indonesian culture, and work together as a group. Check the video at this link.

We wrapped up the class with the first round of planning for our upcoming skit drama, which we’ll be performing at the Indonesian Cultural & Heritage Day on August 23rd. The ideas are flowing, and we can’t wait to bring them to life!
Looking forward to our next class and more chances to learn, create, and connect!
