This year, Blossom Together: Celebrating Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage in Idaho 2025 is set to be an unforgettable event that honors the diverse stories, traditions, and contributions of AAPI communities in the Gem State.
Held throughout the month of May, this statewide celebration brings together families, artists, cultural organizations, and local businesses to share the rich heritage of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders through art, music, dance, food, storytelling, and more. It’s a time to connect, reflect, and grow — just like blossoms in spring.
We at Indo Idaho Inc. are excited to be a part of this vibrant celebration! Join us at our booth, where we’ll be serving up a delicious variety of traditional Indonesian foods. From savory snacks to sweet treats, it’s a taste of home for our community and an invitation for others to discover the warmth of Indonesian cuisine.
But that’s not all! Indo Idaho will also be showcasing a special angklung performance — a traditional Indonesian bamboo instrument played by a group in harmony. This unique musical experience reflects the spirit of collaboration and diversity that defines both Indonesia and the broader AAPI community.
Whether you're curious about Indonesian culture, looking to make new friends, or just want to enjoy the beauty of spring and community spirit, we welcome you to stop by and celebrate with us on Saturday, 3rd May 2025, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Idaho State Museum.
